Great discussion, Fr. Barron. Your honesty and insightful observations are helpful as usual. People in all professions - fathers, mothers, physicians, businessmen, teachers, priests, politicians - could take home helpful lessons from your insights. Thanks again!

Sebastian
I enjoyed hearing these thoughts – timeless in so many ways. I think this commentary painted a very human picture of what it is to be Jewish and Catholic too, and that neither one has the market on sin, i.e., that no one has the market on sin… we all fall short… there is only one Creator and we are all children of same. The ego will trip us up all the time; especially when it becomes that exaggerated sense of self, when we see ourselves as more than who and what we are. I am in awe of God’s patience, and love. There is literally nothing greater than God’s love.
I think Fr. Barron and St. Paul would have been good friends back when… correction: I’m certain they are great friends now. Keep going Father – don’t stop – you’re doing an awesome job clearing the air as to what it is TO BE Catholic.
